AVH-X3500BHS problems
I tried to get up with pioneer and they are not helping what so ever. I installed a new avh-x3500bhs in my frs. Everything works well but the blutooth calling. the problem I'm having is that I can hear the person i'm calling great. but, the other person is saying there is a LOUD buzzing/humming noise coming from my end, which drowns out my voice. No matter where I move the mic in my car it's still there. I tried to put my phone in the truck, and it still does the same thing, thinking it might be the radio freq. problem. Does anyone have an idea for a fix or know what's going on?

Connection issue with the mic cable? How is the cable being run? If it's not insulated and is touching a lot of other wires or metal, it could introduce hum or buzz into the signal.

You could try that, or there could be an issue with the wire itself. There's no quick easy way to figure that out without buying a new mic and seeing if that works.

pioneer said it could be a grounding issue or a bad mic. they told me to go back to the installer and have them give me a new mic, but, how can I do that if I installed it myself. haha!

Now I don't know what's going on... sigh... I tried electrical taping a 8+ foot mic cord, and that's a fail. I tried a new mic, and that another fail. I narrowed down the buzzing and humming. When I'm parked or sitting still, the calls are great for the person on the other end. but, once I start driving they hear it really loud. I have absolutely no mods that add to cabin noise. anybody have any input what it could be?
