Took the BRZ out for its first track day at High Plains Raceway. It was a whole lot of fun! Sadly no photos or video (yet).

Do you think that's a lasting solution? I am shaped like a silverback gorilla, so my butt fits in the seat fine, but my shoulders are as wide as the seat. If this is something that will give a lasting fix, count me in...

I think so yes. I saw a cutaway of the seat frame and the shoulder and side bolsters are sitting on a half circle tube. If trap the pointy part of the shoulder cushion and pull back, it bends that tube a bit and really opens up some space. I didn't bend it bay maybe 1/2 an inch back, but it feels so much better. I'll need a long road trip to see if I need to bend it anymore. They don't look any different to me, but I can feel that it moved.

Yeah someone recommended I get some dr colorchip but some of the chips will need leveling. At least my car is gray so it won't be in your face that it was touched up. But my god the rest of the car is pristine but the front bumper looks like it went through hell. It sucks because now I could easily get the front end clear bra but 4 years ago that wasn't the case...Modern day paint really really sucks.

Finally got time to install the armrest, used the template for the three guide pins and then used the frame to drill the other holes, worked great!

I did the same thing, can't imagine my car without an armrest now. Good job!

Installed the MTEC clutch spring. Wish I'd done it when I first got the car last year. It's a bit fiddly to install, but it makes a noticeable improvement.

Autocrossed yesterday for the first time with my 245/40/17 PSS tires. I thought I was going to be a grip king, but I was actually a drift king. I'm stage 2 UEL header but it was amazing how easily 2nd gear would kick out the rear end.

My max corner entry speed was much lower than I had anticipated, maybe due to the soft sidewalls of the PSS.

Bottom line is, with a 245 square setup you can still drift lol.

Good to know, thanks! I was planning to switch to the same size from 225/45-17 after the car turned a little too playful with JRSC. I can't put as much power as I want on the road especially at the corners. But I can't do any larger than 245 with my 8" wide wheels. I'll see.

Yup, this is my experience with MPSS as well. Their limit is surprisingly low.
