Doing some research and curious if anyone knows who makes the pump? Thanks!

I could be wrong, but taking a shot in the dark I would guess Denso.

EDIT: well after some research my guess was spot on. The stock pump is a Denso unit.

Yup The pumps and assembly in the left and right sides of the fuel tank are made by Denso, wasn't able to get a part number though off the Denso website search tool but the toyota part number is SU00304154 . Not sure who makes the fuel pump in the engine bay for the DI system probably also denso but it's part number is SU003-05176

Yup that part number is SU003-05176
and this is what it looks like:

I'm assuming that sensor on top is mostly made by denso

The D4S components, including the fuel pump, are made by a subsidiary of Hapco. Why do you ask?

Edit, wow really? Bit of a parapraxis... Denso...

To see if they are replaceable by some of the low noise pumps out there.

Well, looking at those pumps price wise they run $800-$1000 (the current OEM one is in that range) I don't know if that's a value proposition to quiet the crickets down. You could attempt insulation the pump somehow with some sort of foam spray or something no one on the forum has attempted that. But also we know right now 2 things that lead to the chirp:

1) Ethanol- causing cavitation
2) Oil temps- because this pump runs off 3 camshaft lobs it is subjective to oil temperature, people found running an oil cooler stops the cricket sounds for a period of time. So if you could average temps below 205 F I guess it wouldn't appear as often.

But personally I don't think it's that big of a deal, someone like me wouldn't even worry about it and just chalk it up to a quirk if you can find a pump used on another subaru vehicle and whether or not it chirps and still is used for DI then you could probably get that if it bothers you so much.

Pretty sure its actually a Denso unit and not a Kyosan unit. That's the only subsidiary that Denso and Toyota has holdings in that I can remember. And none of their pumps look like the ones our cars have. Sorry, but I'm pretty sure its a straight Denso unit dude.

Where did you hear that? I literally looked through the service manual to find the part numbers and manufacturer, definitely not hapco

OP if you are just looking for ways to rid yourself of crickets, I would suggest just trying a bottle of marvel mystery oil in with your gas to help lube the plunger in the pump. That's the stuff those rotary guru's swear by, including myself. It won't be a one and done fix but it should help for a while until you have to use it again. I know others have used the lucas fuel lubricant and have had pretty good results. But again it's something you will most likely have to use like every oil change or something.

Although the noise dosent bother me (had it since day 1), I had a rather abnormal sound coming from it this time. Almost like a grinding deteriorating sound beyond imagination hah. Performance not affected. No videos but parts are on order. been on straight E85 for the last 30k+ miles.

http://www.trdshop.com/oe-toyota/su00306089

This replaces the previous 2 listed on their website. New part numbers everytime it seems.
