having 100% throttle
was taking some logs and noticed the throttle as the RPM reaches pass 4~5k goes down to 90%. its happening with OTS map. i would like to know if that means the throttle body is not fully open?
and if so how do i fix this so that its always 100%? |

This is normal for the maps. From my tinkering lately, It looks like this can be modified by changing values in the Drive-by-Wire Throttle (DBW) > Target Throttle Plate Position Maximum(Requested Torque) table.

What have you tried? I'm actually in the process of testing myself, have been testing the calculated torque and requested torque table relationship. Hint, there isn't any on the MT.

The calculated torque tables are more for AT and don't seem to do much on a MT from my testing.

if you log the actual throttle plate position in the throttle body you will see less than 100% and it tapering off at higher rpm. unless the logging device rescales the data it extracts from ecu |

its not something i have messed with Adjusting DBW (drive by wire ) throttle tables Note these tables are complex in their interaction and you may produce unwanted or undesirable results. Read this thread first by @mad_sb http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28453 see thread for autos http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80600 @Wayno has used the "requested Torque B" DBW table from the manual roms in auto roms with good results |

I'll chime in with my latest test using ECUtek. This is a 3rd gear WOT pull:
However I also logged desired TPS Voltage and actual TPS Voltage. Both of these are 4V for the entire range. So I've come to the conclusion that the throttle isn't actually shutting at all, but for some reason the ECU shows that it does.

Do you know what the RAM addresses are for these measurements? There are plenty of throttle and request values all through the code, to tease these things out, we need to know exactly where in RAM the values are pulled from. A01G: I've been logging FFF89030 for my throttle which does not fall off at high RPM. Throttle position sensors TPS1 and TPS2 RAM addresses closest to the 16 bit ADC pull are located at FFF87C50 and FFF87C54 respectively. |

What do you have done to the car? I wouldn't worry about it unless you're boosted.
