So If i were to have high flow cats with a Perrin Catback would the noise level be a little more quiet? I don't think I'd mind the noise to be honest but I don't want to get any tickets or noise complaints from my neighbors, even though he's got an annoyingly loud mustang lol
I have a catted front pipe (thank god)

Ahh.. I thought you guys still had cats. I think you're outta luck. =p

@csg or others...

You guys like the Tomei 60S catback exhausts? Loud and/or too "farty"?

I really like the lightweight of the Tomei's (probably the only good reason for getting an aftermarket exh, imo)...but idk if it'll be too loud and too raspy/"farty" with a 1-cat system (ie: catless header, but at least 1 cat in the fp). I too would be embarrassed for driving a lawnmower/weed-wacker around town nowadays.

Are the Tomei exhausts "farty" and raspy?? (I kinda would guess so...since it's just a canister/resonator. I could be wrong tho)

Doesn't need to be "deep" (I actually honestly don't like deep bass exhausts - bass frequencies/sounds carries much too easily through walls/houses)..But, if the tomei sounds more exotic (ie: a little higher/mid pitch, rather than pure bass ..but a classy high/mid pitch nonetheless) like a porsche or some sht ..then that would be ace.

Every exhaust will rasp without cats; it's just how the exhaust flow is with the FA20.

Farty is subjective... youtube clips will be the best you can do unless someone local has it. I wouldn't class the Tomei as farty; this isn't some axleback autozone special.

That's the closest I could find, but the sound is still overwhelming the microphone on whatever its being recorded on.

Comparing stock (green line) with the CARB tune (red line), theres some power loss shown here under 3000 rpms. Is this expected that the JR kit will lose power over stock down low?

Yes. Supercharger take engine power to spin, and at more rpm is not giving enough boost to generate more power yet.

You also don't feel it at all. You go right through to 4k rpm and never go back below it.

This package has the following.

DW 450cc injectors.
Stock fuel pump.

We recommend using the stock pump only if you daily drive the car and use it on the track rarely (1-2 times a year). If you plan to track the vehicle more so then as CSG Mike as stated you will want to upgrade your pump.

Sounds pretty mean and nice (albeit a bit loud). Def doesn't sound like a ricey high-pitch-only lawnmower/weedwacker at least.

BTW, have you had a hard time communicating with jr? I've gone back and forth trying to buy a license and it has taken a few days to get a response? Tried calling this morning too but nobody picked up. My work schedule does not leave a lot of time to be calling sales to talk to them so I've had to depend on email
You have been emailing about the license and we have gone back and forth a bit on it correct?

Give us a call, we are available during normal business hours.

And y'all are PST, so if he's East that'll be why you didn't answer.
