Tomei Titanium Exhaust Systems - The SpeedFactory way...

We have all three Tomei Titanium systems for the Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, and Toyota GT-86 in house and we will keep this thread a rolling work in progress to answer questions and show off the systems in varying conditions. We'll be trying them in all sorts of combos, stock car, with other exhaust bits, other headers, and etc. So as we go along, the Tomei Type-60S, Type-60R, and Type-80 will all get coverage.

Yesterday we got a chance to work with the Type-80 First. Photos and Videos below.

Tomei Type-80 for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ.

This system is 3.1" in diameter and intended to be used in forced induction applications, but will bolt to a stock car. Weight comes in at 16lbs. The Type-80 will bolt to the stock front pipe, Motiv, HKS, Invidia, Perrin, and etc. So if you are planning a turbo build and want to get an exhaust now, this is one to look at!

Tomei Type-60R for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ.

This system is 2.3" in diameter and intended to be used for normally aspirated cars and will bolt to a stock car. Weight comes in at 10lbs. The Type-60 will bolt to the stock front pipe, Motiv, HKS, Invidia, Perrin, and etc. This is a perfect system for STX guys or even the track guys.

Sound while driving around town isn't all that loud. In our video reviews do up shortly we talk about how the Type 80 is actually louder with more drone. The 60R doesn't drone like the 80 does, and gives a nice boxer rumble as well. More to come on those videos.

Tomei Type-60S for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ.

This system is 2.3" in diameter and intended to be used for normally aspirated cars and will bolt to a stock car. Weight comes in at 14lbs. The Type-60 will bolt to the stock front pipe, Motiv, HKS, Invidia, Perrin, and etc. This is a perfect system for STX guys or even the track guys that need to daily drive their car. That is the main difference between the 60R and 60S.

I have the RevWorks on mine and I am going with the 80mm, but I may be boosted by the time I get it installed. If not, I will be sure to get some vids.

Do a vid first, then you can start tearing it down for the build.
