Reminds me of when he did a video on the GR Yaris and how fantastic it is, and then a couple weeks later posted how he's looking for a new, fun car but didn't list it as an option. So I messaged him and asked. His response was basically that the GR Yaris is super popular now and (supposedly) everyone else will be doing videos on them, so as fun as it is he couldn't choose it because he needs to keep his channel unique/whatever. I was like.. what.. it's one of the most exciting non-typical new cars out there, and it's pretty limited, especially since most automotive YT-ers are American, and we can't get it. It'd be silly not to get one, especially for some dumb reason as it's going to be all over Youtube. lol.

So, where would you rather live.
1. A place where people are highly educated, but rude and pushy, 2. A place where people are nice, but have on average a 4th grade level education and dealing with them is painful. |

For me, I think #2 is preferred, but only slightly. Dealing with "educated" people is often painful for me too... |

So I'd probably prefer a change of pace with an area of lesser-educated people, within reason.

Honestly I take that to be a more permanent, strict application of the full-time, living alone working-from-home environment some of us have been in for the past year.
If I'm really honest, a year or two ago I would have said maybe that's not too bad. But now? I realized how important human interaction is.

This is something that I think of with regards to disaster movies. There are the survivors at the end of the movie but the whole world as they know it no longer exists. Do they all suffer from emotional breakdown 6 days, 6 weeks, 6 months after the end of the movie?
A friend of mine tells me that was a occurrence in some Netflix zombie series. Some people couldn't handle the new world.

I mean, just in the last two to three hundred years you had American explorers who went out west toward the US west coast, and some lived out in the prairies and stuff. They probably had basically nobody for miles of farm land and fields or whatever. Maybe they had a town several miles away but it’s not like they’d constantly be there unless they specifically were selling crops or whatever. So they must’ve been relatively okay on their own. But with humans these days so spoiled with sprawling urban centers and instant communication even with the internet for far off friends and relatives, it’s so different. Could we revert back to that kind of isolated living?
