The car will ride and handle better with 1 inch drop springs for sure...old geezers like me think they look just as good too (i'm 29 lol).

Off the top of my head I'd guess around -2.5 or more rear camber and you might see some uneven tire wear.

The SPC lower arms are okay on a budget.

Awesome thank you for the response. I think I am just going to try and cancel my order and reorder the H&R springs that lower 1in in the front and 1.2 in the back. I can handle a little tire wear but I drive a lot so I need something functional. I just really dislike how high up the rear of the FRS sits so I wanted it a tad lower..

The coilovers are Meister R bodied with custom Black Art Designs internals (I didn't mention the make originally as I'm pretty sure they're not available in the US). They are single adjustable and aimed at the ohlins r&t level. They were damper dyno'd while I was there and they are all at approx 98% critical damping when set on fully hard. They are 36 click adjustable units.

Spring rates are 6kg front and rear. I originally was running them 15 clicks from full hard but the bobbling was too much so have dropped them to 25 clicks from full hard. I've run them on the track at 5 clicks from full hard and they are excellent (a track instructor commented the same). They absorb big bumps, kerbs and broken roads very well but seem to be struggling with high frequency small bumps on motorways and A roads.

Thanks again for any help / thoughts.

Maybe reach out to your locals for help with the spring install and use the money saved on installation for the LCAs?

I can do the install myself but I am terrible at taking my time with things in order to do it safely without possibly damaging something cosmetic near by (like a fender). After fighting with the shocks/springs in my miata I would just rather have it done by a shop so that I dont ding a fender or something with the impact gun.. lol

You should do the corner balance before you align the car.

I'm not going to track the car. Let's say for example if I dropped my car 2 inches, how much camber will I get after a good alignment? Will it be too much camber? I'm asking this because I'm wondering if it's 100% necessary for me to get aftermarket LCA's and aftermarket toe links. Or will I be okay running stock components?

With a 2 inch drop, you will have too much camber in the rear IMO especially for a street car.

You might not need toe links.

That's what I was thinking Andy. I think with a 2" drop the rear camber would be like at -3 or higher and I want it to be at -1 or even 0. So LCA's is a must. What do you recommend being paired with the KW V3's... I'm leaning towards Whiteline or Cusco's.

Def don't want 0. For your uses -1.5 to -1.75 is a good spot to be.

Whitelines are not available and prob won't be for a while.

Cusco works okay, but there are a ton of options right now for LCAs. SPL, RacerX, and the new one coming from FT86speedfactory/Velox.

SPC is fine for a street car too on a budget.

You think a 2" drop and the SPC (http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/spc-...e-kit-891.html) would get me in the -1.5 to -1.75 range or you think I would have to opt for SPL, RacerX, Cusco etc?

That kit will do it.

Does this sound like something that can be tuned with damper adjustments or a more fundamental issue with the dampers?

Thanks for the help!
Anyone? It's really driving me nuts now!

If you can't tune it out by softening the damper settings, then yes, it's a fundamental issue with the damper valving.

Can you share what brand dampers you are using?
