Wait this is news to me! What are the differences between the USDM and the JDM Toyota duckbills?

Subaru Canada is also doing $500 off (Holiday Bonus) - $31,994 for Sport Tech 6MT.

This makes the diff even bigger $2,500 (can get you a set of decent coilovers).

I took advantage of the $500 bonus when I bought my BRZ in early December. Along with the $2,000 price difference (between it and the 86), it was a no-brainer. Also, the duckbill on the 86 looks dorky to me, so Toyota was out of the running anyway.

Agree, two reasons I am going with the GR86 is the Trueno Blue (Dark Blue) and the front bumper. I wish Subaru offers that in Canada.

The bumper is an easy fix but the Blue is harder.

Back then Subaru was doing $3000 off clearance on the 2018 BRZ, plus the Brembo (F/R) that GT86 didn't have. Makes people jump on the BRZ in no time.

I can totally see I will do that same for the 2nd gen too.

Yea, i'm willing to bet the 2500-3000 off clearance will happen w the 2nd gen when production levels get back to normal.

You can see in the north american spoiler it tapers a lot off towards the center compared to the JDM one. I thought it was just the angles but after seeing other pics, they definitely look different. That plus the fact that the fender duct trim add-on is different than the JDM variant makes me think there is a separate branch developing the limited number of accessories and dealer add-ons for the north american market
