The funny part is that in all probability the ones that have arrived but were not ordered will likely sit on the lots until spring in normal Canadian sportscar sales fashion.

If you look at the range of vehicles available at the same price, it's pretty freakin dire.
What senior will sneer at 30mpg? Rear wheel drive? Manual transmission?
For that little money? Sorry, I'll clip some coupons for that value.

True. Mine was a dealer pre-order that happened to match the specs I was actually going to order so I lucked out in that sense.

I ordered in July doubting that BRZs will sit on lots, especially in today's market.

I enjoy the 'older' person in sports cars, there is a retired gent in our neighbourhood who drives a Ford Fiesta ST. The Fiesta is seen as very young person's car but I admire him for having a car that he enjoys. However, 20 somethings in supercars (again pretty common where I live) makes me nervy.. Just don't sit right with me..

Oh, I do that little trick, no matter what car I'm driving.

If so, I predict you won't be married much longer -

I'll agree with a few exceptions - well, OK, several exceptions for me -

70+ still loving the FRS after boosting and tracking for the last 10 years.
I may not be going strong any more but the car sure is.

You missed the Canadian (and many northern states probably) reference.
Not saying they won't sell but we have a little thing called "winter" up here that impacts performance car sales far more than you would believe. Guys that order knowing they will come in the winter are fine with it but many will just wait for spring. It happens with every make and model and is not BRZ specific.

The numbers tell the tale completely.

58 here.
So, what did you get, a station wagon? -
