Of course I don't live in a "snowy area" but my favorite time to ride is October through April around here. I'd rather ride in sub 40 degree weather than 90+ any day.

I much rather ride in the cold than the wet.

Though if the roads are wet and cold...I just won't ride. Ice scares me on a bike.

Nope, would not do ice, at least not without studded tires.

Braver than me lol.

Though I did a little dirt bike riding with a little snow and ice (more like frost), but I didn't go fast.

Anyone in here have any experience with the new Kawasaki Z900 RS?

I really like the look of it, and it look comfy.

I will probably get a bike again in the spring...I did the adventure bike thing, and never got used to being so high up.

I was considering a First Gen VMax, a H-D VRod, and that Kawasaki.

I've always been particular to cruisers. This is my current bike. 1996 Harley Sportster 1200S, Hammer Performance 1275 kit, Hammer 530 cams, Hammer offset intake, Screamin' Eagle heads, high flow oil pump, Dynatek ignition, Mikuni HSR45 carb, and Thunderheader. Once the break in and tuning are complete it should see 105-110WHP. I'm planning on doing a hardtail conversion in the next year or two.

Great looking bike. These days, with carbs, 100% fuel and marine fuel stabilizer is a must.

Dirt skills come in handy when traction is an issue....of which, I have none.

Thunder Pig! Finally got one of these historic beauties in great shape with under 10k on it. Love this big girl, super fun to ride and loads of low end torque!

I've ridden a couple of RC 51's as well as having owned several other desirable Hondas. However, for low down torque I still prefer my old, air cooled Ducati Supersport FE.

Yes, pics. You have to trailer to ride in the dirt here. All the old trails have been paved.

getting some time in before they shut down sections of foothills for some road work. I kinda like riding the edge of the old patch smears but the rear suspension can/will be tightened up a tad with a fresh top coat.
