You cant compare the two. I had an E92 335i and it was a cow compared to the FRS. Personally if I had to go with a BMW I would get a 128i (yes 128, not 135) sport with the 6spd. If you are willing to go a little older and deal with the maintenance I would do an E46 M3.

Or you could just stick with the FRS.

Did the lights on my Talon. They still looked as good as the day I did them after 6 years. I would think you would have the same results now.

I really really like them. While a tad heavier because of more rubber, they're a lot stickier and you can feel it grabbing the road SO much better than the stock primacies. The wheels themselves are lighter than stock by about a pound each too which is nice.

As you can see by the pics, I need to grab some coils and an extended fender for the front because of the poke. But she needs some more low, a tad bit of camber, and a bit more fender clearance for the front

Are you on everything stock suspension wise?

This was what I was asking for earlier and it looks really clean on yours. Really want the Michelin PS3s on 245/45/17s. Or if anything, 235s.

Thank you kind sir! I am now convinced that is the way to go as they would rock the Lava. May not go as wide and will have to do something about those center caps but they are exactly what I wanted

Youre welcome! and Aww, but if you go wide then you get concave! Either way I know you'll love it dude. It'll look great on the lava. The Center caps come with the wheels but are not pre-installed so if you don't like them, you can always leave them off and grab something you like better!

Yesterday I finished blacking out my headlights and signal reflectors,
And today I changed my oil and while it was draining installed NST pulleys 😉

Ordered a TopSpeed over-pipe and down pipe. Awaiting arrival of those, and a Racesing reverse lockout in adonized red.

Today I filled up my frs with gas and I never really thought about this til now ...

On my 300zx I would always hear a "pshhh" sound when opening the gas cap but with the frs I never hear that noise.. do you guys hear that noise when opening your gas cap or is it quiet like mines ?

Yesterday I washed, clayed, polished, and waxed. Also installed JDM clear side markers and the mod kit from @projek_01 that lets the HIDs and DRL strip function simultaneously. Last week I installed the Diode Dynamics tail-to-turn mod that also converts the old turn signals to backup lights. Just gotta de-pin the blue light from my 10 Series badges (I like the white one) and that'll put an end to my cosmetic mods for a while, nothing else I'm really itching for. Will update thread when I get the fix-it ticket for not having amber side marker bulbs... but I did drive by and alongside plenty of cops last night without issue so we'll see.

Silver Ignition is still so beautiful to see at the different angles
