I'm a huuuuuge Stoptech fan for street cars. I've happily run through at least 1-4 sets on all my cars with autox and loads of DD miles. That said, they will definitely get toasty on the track.
I think since you've already bought them, install them and enjoy them, but keep your stock rotors and put some proper track pads on them, and switch your pads and rotors for track days, and enjoy having a really nice, firm, reasonable street pad the rest of the time. Good luck with your build, I like your end goal, just make sure your trajectory matches or you're going to be buying parts again and again to accomplish your goals!

Built bottom end with higher compression pistons and a stroker kit. Built heads with piper race cams, upgraded valvertrain, and lots of headwork.

Do you have any links to projects that have already gone down this road successfully? It does sound very appealing to me (money no object); I'm just not aware of any.

TRD Griffon was focused to break a single time record on a very specific race track. It is a fast race car, but not a "monster" by modern terms. They used it mainly for marketing purposes and never seen the track again. The same holds for the ASM Honda S2k who holds on certain tracks the best NA record, but cannot face its FI rivals anymore. Your best chances to build nowadays a "monster" is to start with a WRX STI or something similar. That's my opinion ...

I just ordered the JDM underpanels and Mtec shift springs. I can't wait to get them on the car. Also coming is the Mishimoto radiator, stoptech brakes, and ACE 123mm crank pulley install. After that I'm going to get the car tuned by Delicious and hopefully be ready for my first track day at Thunderhill at the end of October.

Nice. I've wanted the JDM underpanels for a while, but don't really have anywhere to install them.
Where did you order yours from? Quote:

Newest additions. JDM underpanels and Mtec shifter springs. I still need to install the brakes and then I'll be ready for my first track day.

@AceHeader-MT pulled through again with the sponsored parts. This time it's the Laguna 90 Muffler. I'll be using it for daily driving and for when I need to meet sound requirements at certain tracks like Laguna Seca once I'm ready. The quality and care that is taken with all of their products is AMAZING! I'm always impressed and couldn't be more proud to have them as a sponsor on the build. I'll be doing a comparison video this week on my new YouTube channel mentioned in the previous post. Many people have asked me about how the full ACE setup sounds so I'll make sure to get some good clips of cold start, idle, daily driving, and spirited driving between the two. For now though, here are some pictures.
