I have answered the question of "what kind of car is that?" so many times now I am going to get pamphlets printed up I can just hand them to people. At least I don't need to explain the Scion part of the puzzle anymore!
This morning I had an older guy and his wife drooling over The Lava at a stop light. Next light they rolled down the window and asked what year the car was, I said "2014" and he said "No way such a cool color is on such a new car!". Their light changed and they left me smiling.

The bulk of the complement I got on the Lava were from females in about the 18 to 25 year old range. Didn’t help me much but may work out well for you.

Lol most people who see my car can't believe it's a 2013, but it's usually because they think it's brand new.

When I had the BRZ, I had this douchebag typical mustang guy always mess with me with his GT350, of course I lost I didn't stand a chance boosted or not.......I ran into him again not knowing it was him.

We were getting gas and he came up to me and was like "You're pretty fast" And I was confused he spoke to me like he knew me and I was like "Nahh man" and then he told me that GT350 was him and I looked over at his car....... I couldn't believe it.....his 2nd car was a BRZ

You said "whether boosted or not...", so was your BRZ boosted when you ran his GT350?

The first rule of boosted club is to make sure you say you are boosted at any opportunity!

Damn, really? Were you at about 300whp? How far behind did you fall back?

I wouldn't expect a boosted BRZ in the low to mid 300hp to get completely obliterated by a GT350 - in fact, wouldn't it be rather close?

Pretty far back, especially when I had to shift gears at the redline if I remember it was at 7400 or 7600 while he has a 8200 Redline.
Yeah I was in the 300whp range, GT350 is like really close to the 500whp range. It's a hell of a car man, the owner told me he actually prefers driving his BRZ. He only drives his GT350 because of the sound. The BRZ can be driven to redline and he doesn't have to worry about going to jail lol drive a GT350 to the redline and yeah you better have a cop detector

Took out my TS yesterday for a long drive around the county roads and got a thumbs up from a 350Z. Then I parked my car in a park and got a few young kids drooling around it. It's a nice little car for sure, did not buy it to break the sound barrier, but it's a pure driver's car, reminds me a little of my 2010 Cobalt SS Turbo but the BRZ handles a little better. I also enjoy how simple it is.

A car built to go fast vs a slow car made to go fast.

Using hp as the only metric is a fools trap.

It's hilarious how it's been a year since I received my last compliment from a stranger on my car since I took my wing off. With the wing they were almost daily, and absolutely zero without the wing lol. People really like wings!

Ever wonder what the difference between being smart vs. just being a smart ass?

There's really no need to imply I'm a fool for just some simple curiosity I had.

I never knew GT350s were north of 500hp. I always thought they're around 450 to 500hp and knowing how heavy they are, I was surprised how far back the boosted BRZ fell.

So there, hp wasn't the only thing in question - weight was clearly on my mind which is why I thought a boosted BRZ shouldn't get totally obliterated by a heavy V8 Mustang.

Also, I'm just going to exercise some restraint here and not submit a profanity-laced response, but let me just say that your implication that I'm some fool is quite unfounded and pathetic.

I've noticed you around the forum quite a lot and that's mostly because of the silly/immature picture in your avatar and also due to your endless sarcastic and immature responses in most threads. I've noticed you because I remember just rolling my eyes at most of your immature responses - a desperate attempt at humor and gaining some attention.
