A bit of a late update. Finally went back under my car after a long vacation. Fixed/tightened the adapter bolt.

Now the shifter is nice and tight, just the way I like it

just installed mine, the shift is definitely tighter due to the change to the oem rear bushing to the one the kit provided. But as previously mention, it does take a little more force to shift into gear as the leverage length underneath is increased.

Regarding the install, it was pretty straight forward, I ripped the oem shift boot like everyone else. The shift position is also slightly changed from stock, overall very satisfied with the kit but it is on the expensive side for what we are getting.

I got my kit at fairfield momentum toyota for 150.

I had a problem getting the adapter's bushing to fit properly over the little peg thing. This coat me at least an hour of install time and a trip to the store for an 8" channel lock to help me squeeze it together. Shifts like a stream, though. Totally worth the slightly difficult installation.

Be sure to check that the adapter's bushing for a fit before you commit.

The diameter for the CF one is smaller than the aluminum version, right?

Curious, is the stock driveshaft the same diameter as the CF?

I have this mod, maybe on the next 86drive event, if I can make it out.
