Question NST GT86 MTM build

Yo!

First post here.. Been lurking a little I guess.

I've a Midnight Black GT86 pre-ordered with North Shore Toyota.. thinking about having them install a number of performance parts at the TRD centre there based on the parts pricing announced today and earlier (TRD).

Soo, wanted to post my current preliminary parts sheet here (missing wheels and up to date pricing information for a few parts), get some feedback.. few (visual) options laid out there -- all options having the same set of susp/chassis/engine work from Cusco.

1) TRD body with TRD muffler
2) TRD body without TRD muffler
3) Five Axis Aero with TRD muffler
4) Five Axis Aero without TRD muffler

As you can see, all options are quite affordable! Props to the team at NST for such great pricing for ft86club members

I've avoided the Cusco Capacitor IG and +2mm Throttle Body for now, not sure about those upgrades -- will be doing more research.

I have a google doc spreadsheet up too: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...GU0Y2F2bkdLQkE

DAMN so many parts!!!

Have you factored in +15% for GST on the parts from NST? + the certing the car for the coilovers? Also do you plan to install yourself or pay NST to install? (I'd recommend getting them to do it, as at least there'd be a warranty involved)

Looks like a pretty epic list. I'm more likely to tinker away and slowly add parts so that I get to appreciate each upgrade as it happens + don't want to get bored in 3 months with a car that has everything :P

FYI - I've ordered:
White MT GT86
TRD full spoiler kit
Rear muffler
Rear diffuser

ahh.. prices are all exclusive GST, I'd imagine. Thankfully, my GT86 is going to be a company vehicle (large GST refund), complete with fringe benefit taxes! (GST reimbursed maintenance, mileage, so-on)

Had overlooked the certing for the coil-overs. derp. Thanks, I'll be sure to get a figure for that. Need to get a figure back for having the disc brakes ventilated too

I'll be having the team at NST do the installation, drive up from Rotorua and drive it back. My ETA is something like January, so.. I dunno, not sleeping very well ^_^

As for being bored with the car in 3 months? I don't think that will be a problem.

Sweet - nice work on the FBT, typically after 5 years you end up paying more FBT than you receive in benefits from claiming all the expenses (as depreciation by that stage becomes so small).

Maybe I'll stop by Rotorua on my way from NST > ChCh in Sept, give you a little peek then scream off

I don't set the prices, but yes. That is what TRD/NST announced in the other thread.

I've taken the TRD kit off and will be going with the other kit I priced (Five Axis Aero w/ No Spoiler)

I think AJ is referring to the lower bumper lip , not the boot lid spoiler / lip .

would the boot lid lip be painted in your chosen colour for the car or is it the white/black/upainted option?

Standard colours are white, black and unpainted. so No to answer your question, although it wont be hard for your local panel beater to colour match your paint and do it for you... as long as no apprentice does it

Are you getting the Five Axis Aero Parts from NST also?

I have a Tornado Grey GT86 on order and plan to put a Five Axis rear spoiler on it.
