the ltft is high positive are you on 10% ethanol fuel ?? or you might have minor exhaust leak or non standard intake ? does the ltft get lower once your at say 2000 or so rpm ??
Bone stock intake but an aftermarket drop in filter (not sure what brand), shouldn't be 10% ethanol, also i suppose its possible i have a minor exhaust leak, not sure.. ill have to check and see what it is at 2k RPM..

Might be worth doing some data logging, and uploading logs to datazap if you plan to run 91 on and off. There is a logging thread in the tuning subforum if you want feedback.

When you view the logging screen you can keep and eye on the advance multiplier as the car warms up while you are driving. It should rise from .70. If it moves around or goes down the tune is too spicy for the fuel.

My plan is to go e85 in the next week or 2 and never look back unless I have insane issues or something odd.. but its not a daily for me, so I'm good with all the e85 good/bad.

Plug your OFT in and drive normally and see if your Adv Multiplier goes up to 1. It should and if it does not find out why. Moving to E85 should not band aid the issue because it has a higher timing advance and the poor AM will continue

Post log info here. And/or post here, a bunch of experienced OFT users in this thread now.
https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...47754&page=140

Example of what a log pull would look like. From the V4.03 canned tune I ran before getting custom dialed tune from @tomm.brz

https://datazap.me/u/mygotousername/...3?log=0&data=1

How to log and pull data.

Save file on computer and upload to datazap.

So the LTFT is/was likely due to an exhaust leak as many had suggested...

Holy shit. At the leak and the drilled out holes in the flange.

Do the world a favor and throw that thing away.

None of the bolts were torqued properly... it didn't take too much to get everything loose.... won't happen with the new boy.. got a fully wrapped tomei UEL expreme... need to get some of those green scrubbing pads to clean the block side mating surfaces and then get the new tomei in tomorrow.. oh, and the old one was making contact with the oil pan FFS......

LTFT fixed! New header is installed and sounds nice!

The tomei instructions say something like 25 and 23 ft/lbs of the torque specs for the overpipe and head nuts respectively.. sounded low but whatever.. the crowsfoot 14 mm did nicely on the drivers side nut and the rest were easy even the over pipe bolts despite the header being wrapped well...

Going to go through a few heat cycles checking the torque on the nuts but this should be a wrap..

Glad you fixed your problem! One question: Did your LTFT/STFT's go closer to 0 as you added gas?

I never revved it. I finished up yesterday, torqued everything down to spec and let it go through 2 full heat cycles. After that I re-torqued just to be sure. If its not pouring down rain today I may pull it out of the garage and test drive it. I was hoping to put some heat shield on the oil pan before putting the metal cover back on and getting it off the jack stands. Might run to auto zone later today.
