New PC is up and running, and all drivers and utilities are installed and up to date. Now I just need to transfer over my rather large Steam library and I can finally take it for a test drive.

Transfer over from where? On my new machine I just re-downloaded the games, it was super fast.

Argggh! Just finished the main campaign in Witcher 3 last night and despite my best efforts managed to get pretty much the worst ending. Geez, I have no idea where I went wrong.

HA! You could have went wrong at basically any point during the main quest.

I've yet to finish the game with the same ending twice.

Finished Assassin's Creed: Origins just now.

I haven't felt this cheated by an ending to a video game since Metal Gear Solid: V. My god, what an absolutely terrible way to cock up a great game, Ubisoft. However, don't know why I expected anything different from them.

Haven't played yet, but doesn't surprise me. I love most of Ubisoft's games and their storylines, but a lot of them do end with a feeling of "OK we're done now, we'll just consider this the end".
