Okay, that is beautiful. Now I want to see photoshops of the 86 with a color matched, stylish roof box

Or like someone else said, long skis won't fit w/o entering the driver area, same with long snowboards.
I don't think this is the car for you...

Tacoma bed + dirty mountain bike=WIN

From the trips to Bear/Summit, most of the snow is gone out by the time you get on the freeway.

That guy is a mad keen mountain biker. His garage is a spotless man cave containing 7 hung bikes and the Elise.

There's no way I'd want to be putting a bike in an Elise, but I'd rather that than driving a truck.

Roof bars on a BRZ with a little trailer for my great dane sounds like an excellent compromise.

Seriously. Why shouldn't you tow a camper with a bmw or benz? Or a small boat? They've got the power, and the chassis isn't going to break. So why get a 2nd vehicle?

Some of them are a pain in the butt to install and remove. So hell yeah, leave it on. Sure it could be a fashion statement. It could also be a healthy dose of 'I don't give a fuck', too.

Come on, y'all. Pop quiz!

Q: Where do you go mountain biking?

A: mountains.

Q: What's in mountains?

A: Fun roads to drive.

So why not take a fun car to get there?

I can respect that.

As I said, it's not for me either ... but he gets to ride his bikes and drive his car ... and that makes him very happy.
