Expected max mileage for 13 FR-S?
My daily commute is quite a lot, I have a 2013 FRS and it’s the only vehicle I have. I have 126k miles on it and I just recently changed the transmission fluid on it. Other than regular oil changes, what else can I do to make this last with a long daily commute. For a month it’ll probably be 200 miles a day. Right now it’s about 130 ~.

Like D said just keep on top of the regular maintenance. There really is no other secrets that will make it last longer.

I can’t imagine highway cruising will be that damaging. But I would use a good fuel with the appropriate additives and watch all your fluids (especially coolant)

I just get regular 93 fuel from either marathon, chevron or shell. That should be fine right? And I also clean my gas tank every half year with seafoam

I think 200k is reasonable assuming you don't beat it on every chance you get and keep on top of your maintenance. which isn't a lot with these cars which is great.

I've never understood why people advise you to rotate your tires. I mean... they rotate like crazy every time you drive....

I'd check the tire pressure every week or so. With the amount of mileage you pile on low pressure can butcher fuel economy and degrade the tires sooner.
I'd probably have the alignment checked too if it hasn't been looked at. |
