I installed that black/red sliding FR-S armrest in my BRZ. It rides higher than the hinged armrest and preserves the use of the center console compartment and also provides access to the cupholders to a certain extent. I like it.

I'm surprised to see it show up on JDM cars. I thought they were stuck with the low hinged armrest that makes the center console useless while driving, while the sliding armrest was a US thing.

Toyota needs to make a damn PP option like Subaru. If I had to guess there must be some silly agreement between the two manufacturers stopping Toyota from carrying the option
I guess its more of a Toyota USA thing? They do have the PP stuff available for the 86 overseas.

All of North America is limited to the stripper Hakone, controlled by TMNA Plano product planners.

Dang. I know I sound like a broken record, but I would seriously consider trading my '13 in on this if it came fully equipped.

Very nice, although personally not crazy about the seats but could live with them.

I thought the same about the seats in the RS2 until I saw some in real life. Pictures can't capture the tan colour very well.

Nice pics, @Guff, thanks.

Does it seem like more orange peel than other colors? Maybe it's a prototype and the production car will be better finished or was damaged and repainted poorly.

I've noticed that the paint on most cars in general has gone down hill since the advent of water based products. My tS isn't bad but the wife's STi has some ares that would make an orange blush!

Wasn't sure about green (I typically dislike green on a car)
But i'm digging that shiny green paint.

Those 86 badges look so out of place. Glad I removed mine.
