I bet you'd be limited to the tire sizes shown on their concept vehicles.

If only it weren't so damned ugly. It looks like an old-style Cylon. I bet it says, "By your command!" when you put it in gear.

I specifically stated long distance. I assumed it would be capable of towing a decent load but range is required for me. If I tow to road America I don’t want to stop every three hours for a 1hr picnic so it can recharge.

Tough to be sure, the vehicle isn't even in production yet and they're not releasing too many details. I just like the idea of 400 mile range, silly fast, quiet on the road and room for all the toys. I don't need a pickup for work stuff but they do make it easier to move mt bikes and other large outdoor gear.

The RIVIAN is a future choice because of it's off road capability, range, storage, and no ICE engine. Being an off roader and Toyota Land Cruiser owner you won't understand the appeal if you don't understand off roading/overlanding. RIVIAN is working with 3rd party companies for suspension and armour for their line. It's not a definite but just a choice.

Hang out while you charge the 120kWh battery at 4+kWh/day. Then drive back.
