But a fit person that eats well, exercises, follows all the cleanliness rules, and has used hand sanitizer like it's been going out of style for the past 10 years, is going to have less natural immunity to anything, and will be more naturally susceptible to any sort of sickness, covid included.


I'm not saying the obese person won't have medical bills due to their physique, I'm just saying in terms of covid reaction, the obese person likely stands a better chance at not ending up in the hospital due to covid because they've built up a natural immunity to things very similar already due to their situation

Not once did i mention or associate cleanliness to either group.

Kind of messed up you would naturally think that all or most obese people are also unclean and unhygienic.

Let’s start with the most impactful and work our way down list.

Funny enough fixing the first issue (obesity) may have a dramatic positive effect on helping resolve the other issue (covid)

Funnily enough, there's no vaccine to combat obesity. It takes education over time to teach individuals why eating healthy and exercising is beneficial long term.

But for this other disease that's killed over 600k Americans alone in the past year and a half, there's literally a vaccine to help in the short term.

Obesity has killed more people and has been around forever and is a major contributing factor to predictive and potential outlook on covid survival rates.

That living a healthy lifestyle making good decisions for your health will be just as advantageous as the vaccine for a large number of people.

Fat people? Why the animosity towards obesity?

Obesity is a serious wide spread pandemic. That is directly link to covid mortality rates.

Everything is always about the vaccine, why not focus on strengthening your natural immune system? Tons of people are still contracting, spreading, and dying from covid who have been vaccinated. It’s unfortunate the vaccine isn’t more effective. Need to look at more possible methods of protection.

But you aren't.

One is literally a long-term fix, the other is a short-term fix.

You could've spouted the same shit 1 year ago and hundreds of thousands would've still died. Maybe if you'd spouted that same shit 10 years ago fewer would've died, but clearly it's impossible to go back in time.

So again, tell me how an immediately-accessible vaccine (that is FDA-approved!!) is a worse option than "hey guys, start eating healthier and exercising so that maybe in the next few years if you get COVID you _might_ do a little better".

If you think obese people can suddenly turn un-obese in the span of 6 months, good luck.
