Thanks for writing the review. I'm looking forward to seeing your final numbers, dyno pulls etc.
Mike at CSG is a very helpful, knowledgeable vendor on this forum! Nick C.

Yeah after this I'll probably be driving to Southern California for their install when the time comes. Unless, @CSG Mike do you have any recommendations for anyone in Northern California?

If i had any experience with removing/replacing bumper and one or two other little snags (like having read the instructions before hand) my kw kit would have come in right around the time quoted in the manual (6ish iirc) and ask anyone, i'm a moron |

I am familiar with JR from the old Honda days.. never thought I'd see them release a kit for this car. I've considered it but since I'm also considering selling the car.. lol

Thanks for the detailed write-up!
I had a lot of in-direct dealings with the Jackson team in my Miata days. They always made good stuff. Glad to see the family is carrying on the car-tradition. |

I didn't see you mention anything about an oil cooler. Is the oil cooler that comes with the kit solely for the supercharger? Did you do an engine oil cooler? If not, how have your temps been?

Well, it's been a good 20 months with my FRS. At the end, I enjoyed this car very much. To recap, I did the following to my car:
-Jackson Racing SC -Delicious Flex Fuel Kit -ST Coilovers -Form 720 Wheels -Custom Exhast -Ground effect kit -Pulleys -aluminum drive shaft -kartboy short throw -cusco carbin steering wheel -HID -LED -Rear lip wing And other minor things... I am now moving onto a different project car. The Golf "R". FRS was super fun, but I need more space with the rear seats and I tried my best to force my kids behind me for a daily commute. The car was extremely balance and it was absolutely a blast when it was fully modded and had E85 in the car. I want to thank everyone and please do keep in touch... I highly suggest the Golf "R" when anyone is ready to move on! Regards, Exam2300 |
