I've had 3 people at gas stations recently ask me how much I paid. Feels a little weird

I love getting that question because I always ask how much they thought it cost and its usually 'at least 40k, right?' good to know our econo-sport looks the part.

not to mention I was driving at night and saw a damn nice looking car coming the opposite direction and thought 'wow, that is a sexy car! what is that? a maserati?' yeah... asphalt frs haha owned the car for over a year and cant even point out the same car yet. (but it was a dark color at night)

Haha mine is asphalt as well, having driven several Masers including the GranTurismo, I would have to say our car does closely resemble the GT.

I tell them $30,000 out the door generally. Most people react with "no way" and assorted other forms of non belief. I invite them to check out the interior and such and they all love it!

picking up lunch for work @ the drive-thru. manager's at the window and when he realizes it's a subaru he says, "i didn't know they made sports cars! very nice, enjoy!"

A bunch of people came up to me my last trackday to comment that the car looked great and was flying through the turns. Good to see our cars getting some love from owners of different badges.

I passed by two guys in a white BMW 328i on the highway today. A few minutes later, they creep by in the passing lane and the passenger is recording my car with his phone... On another note, the day after I bought my FRS, I was driving on the interstate and a dude in a Ferrari F430 actually slowed down in the passing lane to get next to me. He looked at my car, gave a thumbs up and just cruised away.

Had a girl flash her panties at me. The passenger of an SUV that wouldn't let me over. I then got behind them and I see panties being held up as soon as I got behind them.

A coworker of mine is producing his 2nd amateur rap video with it next month lol. His first was pretty impressive after watching it so I said ok. He said he just wanted a few shots of him and a girl in the front seats and a couple out front. I said sure.

old man in a black cayman catches up to me after i drove past him while he was turning onto the street. he later drives by me while checking out my car.

on a side note, today i was driving my wife's 2002 champagne Elantra. Another Elantra of the same color does a flyby and merges into my lane about a car length in front of me. I thought to myself, "man that guy's driving pretty stupid". I end up merging into the other lane, and got caught up at a red light with the other Elantra. He honks at me and I look over, some older hispanic man (maybe late 30s-early 40s) in a suit gives me a thumbs up. I chuckled to myself.. never did I think I'd get props while driving a beat up Elantra.
