But I'm also assuming the amount of CO2 spray output by the nozzle is calibrated for water's density and stuff, not other liquids.
Only water. If you do try, I suggest outdoor experimentation because I expect things would go sideways really quickly once uncapped.

There's another way to carbonate by adding a known mass of dry ice to the mixture. I've done it with used soda bottles. Purging is key for success. Failure is spectacular.

Got it. Yeah, I've actually used dry ice quite a bit. Back in senior year HS chemistry we had to do a year-end project.

Mine was using dry ice to turn the juice in slices of apple into "carbonated juice". Basically pound a chunk of dry ice into powder and layer a bunch of apple slices on top. As the dry ice sublimates it permeates the very tiny porous meat of the apple, freezes the liquid, and carbonates it. Makes for a fun experience and it's tasty.

He's the one that blows up my task list about once a week. I was already working on 3 "this has to happen now" projects and he came in and gave me a "drop everything and do this now" task. These are in addition to my day to day which isn't getting completed either.

I LOVE that.

Boss would ask how long to finish a project and I'd give them a date provided it was my sole focus. They then dump on 3 other large projects up until that date then try to reprimand me for not delivering original said project by agreed date. "I didn't think the multiple 50 hour projects I gave you was going to push back your 200 hour project in a 45 hour work week."

Every! damn! time!

My boss at the company I left would do similar and then when I mentioned it being an actual problem, he'd be like "yeah but personally I like to challenge myself" (in fact I feel like I mentioned this trait of his in here before too). Like come on dude, you're not the one doing the work. Don't promise completion for a super important project without consulting with the people actually working on it.

Whenever that happens, I tell them that it will be pushing out the larger task. Then I send an email to remind them what they asked me to do and what it is going to cost them.

This is an age old dilemma. To better understand how the monkey is transferred, I suggest you read this time honored article.

https://hbr.org/1999/11/management-t...got-the-monkey

Now, come up with a plan for yourself in your situation.

So that's what they do at haaavaaad yaaaad.
Can quite clearly see it needs to be outdoors for all the monkey poo being flung about.

An effective "Someone Else's Problem" generator would keep them in Boston permanently.

It's amazing how few laws apply on private property. Pros and cons to that I suppose.

I'm sure in this case it's one of those things where they probably don't want to deal with finding a new subcontractor. Probably more expensive, etc etc.
