I placed my order on Jan 6th, and my order said "order accepted" on their computer on Jan. 13, and I STILL didn't get a VON

I went to the dealer on Sat 11/6. Got the VON email on 11/14 listing 11/12 as the date of the VON issue. On 11/6 my sales guy did tell me it would be at least 3 months. This was only the 3rd BRZ they ordered.

I was suspicious that they didn't even order, because I was thinking that they didn't want to "waste" an allocation on an MSRP order. However, I actually saw it on their computer, and it said, "order accepted". I'm very confused

Ordered mine on Sept 24th.
Dealer called me and said it’s arriving tomorrow.
I’d tell my wife it’s her Valentine’s present but she knows me and that’s not gonna fly.

Confirming that the car did indeed arrive yesterday. Took 5 months and 5 days from order to arriving at the dealer.

I really need to do a major cleanout/reorg of my garage.

Got an update a couple of days ago from my salesman, initial ETA was May but now the ETA is March 15th. I'm super stoked! Depending on timing, it may end being my birthday present

That is great, out of curiosity what color is your build? I am hoping my July ETA gets moved up.

Congrats man! Do you mind sharing what model and color you ordered? Also in the bay area and ordered a rally blue premium 6mt on 12/6 from Napa Subaru. When I called Monday last week it was still slated for May 2022. Hoping they moved mine up to March too!

Hey, if mine is any indication then hopefully yours should be soon, too. My BRZ is Crystal White Pearl, Limited w/ MT.


For a quick timeline:

Ordered: 12/15/21 (May ETA)
VON#: 12/16/22 (via email from SoA)
VIN#: 02/11/22 (w/ new ETA of 3/15)

I was able to register my new VIN# to MySubaru 2/13/22.

Ugh seems like alot of people are getting their orders push up, but mine keeps getting pushed back. Dealer originally showed 2/10 and now its 3/4.

Just got the call after work. The system shows a delivery to the dealership on Sat Feb 19. Sales guy says he does not have the VIN yet and it cleared the port and is at the rail head. So hopefully I pick it up next week.
