Does this make 1st and 2nd gear longer or shorter?

1st and 2nd will be spaced closer together and closer to third than stock. Essentially, rpms will be lower at the same speed as the original gears. The mfactory 6th gear will bring the ratio closer to 5th therefore the rpms will be higher at the same speed as the original gear. I guess this would make these gears shorter since it brings them closer together with a smaller rpm drop when shifting compared to the original ratios.
Take a look at this cusco pdf, since its essentially the same gearset just rebranded:

Did you ever have it installed? If so, can you hit 60 in 2nd?

I had the 1-2 gearset installed but not the 6th gear. You can definitley hit 60 in second before redline, this is with a 4.1 final drive.
