spring is in the air

Ordered new shoes today Michelin Super Sport 4's, Putting insurance back on the car tomorrow. Hopefully the tires come in by Friday so I may book an appointment at my favorite car enthusiast hangout Slick Auto on Saturday. I love this time of year.

Nice! I've got a zero-pressure version of those on the Vette, although I must confess I'm keeping an eye out for something stickier for autox. The big size in the back is tough to find.

So today I washed the BRZ for the first time since winter rolled in. Subaru paint sucks.
On the plus side, the car is noticeably faster when it's clean & shiny.

Hey all.

Just resurrecting this thread since I'm supposed to be picking up my new 2022 BRZ in a week or so based on the delivery estimate when I put my deposit down.

Anyone else taking the plunge?

I was originally going to wait until the spring but giving the uncertainty of supply with the chip shortage I figured I'd pull the trigger since the dealer had pre-ordered one in the specs I wanted (Sport-Tech, MT, WRB).

Just got a shipping update.

My car is off the boat and on the train to Toronto. Cutting it tight for a pre-Christmas delivery.

Good for you! A large red Xmas bow would look great on that WRB.

Wonder if there will be any shipping delays due to damage from the BC flooding. I remember seeing a shot of some train tracks hanging in mid-air, the roadbed having been washed out.

Please continue with the updates, we're living vicariously through you.

When I got the update from my sales guy he said that there were some later shipments that had been delayed due to the weather but that mine had got through just in time.
