Can't wait to try this out on Sat. Really trying to hold off from purchasing racechrono license and external GPS.

I'm guessing the data/lap time can only be viewed on pc, and not on our cellphone at the track like racechrono/hlt?

The best lap is displayed on the prototypes, along with current lap, oil and rad temps. The one in my car displays current, best and last lap. It's really limited to the screen real estate.

Data logging worked great at yesterday's JRP GP track day. Data captured looks great.

Unlike the QStarz logger that I've always used and never really had any issues until mid afternoon and for the rest of the day. For some odd reason there was a lot of drift in the longitude coordinates it seems and because of that, the QStarz couldn't provide any useful while on the track other than telling me that my lap time so far is over three minutes and increasing!

Now will see if I can try and import the data from your prototype into QStarz....

I think that it sensed competition... and cowered in fear... lol. Which model do you have? I was playing around the idea of GPS+GLONASS with QZSS. The units I have only make use of GPS + QZSS.
Also have a look at AEMData, you might be converted ^^.

I think so too, and it cowered and hid in a corner! Have the LT-Q6000.

AEMdata, an engineer must have designed this tool, slowly figuring it out...

Is that video made with racerender? Sorry I'm not very familiar with it yet so I can't easily tell. If not then what did you use? How do you find the process compares to the Solo DL? I've only tried it a few times so far but it's a bit clunky and I haven't yet found a way to make it easily repeatable, having to start from scratch each time. Here's a quick video I slapped together from yesterday using the dashcam (for instance you can see I totally screwed up calibrating the brake pressure range so it just looks like I treat the brake pedal like a punching bag, since the signal is some kind of pressure value and the gauge is 0-100)

I use dashware. I created a template with custom gauges. It's essentially drop the video, then data and synchronize. All my videos look the same, kinda boring lol. @tanner created a video with my daq and template as well.
