Sunny 25° day here in Caldwell. Streets are clear, but everything else has about 4" of snow. Got the icicles going on the gutters. Very pretty.

Hand hurts. Waiting to get some feeling back in my finger. I wouldn't wish this disease in anyone.

Found out I have another broken side marker light on the Lotus. Suspicious this is the rear passenger wheelwell light since the shop had to remove the wheel liner to get to the A/C plugs to recharge. There is another $80 and six month wait. but hey, they are lightweight and fragile because Lotus. I feel like buying a set of 4 because I know they will not be available for much longer. These cars are 20 years old, and Lotus is stopping production of parts like crazy.

Just a list of first world problems, so life is pretty good.

Hey, it's not oozing anything and the tissue color is good. Going to need good scar management one healed over.

I still have no feeling in my finger. Surgeon said after 3 surgeries the nerves on my finger are very angry. He is confident it will come back, but will take time. Crossing my numb fingers....

Nerves can take time. When I bruised my sciatic it was almost a year before it felt somewhat normal again.

I sliced the nerve bundle at the base of the left side of my right index finger when I was in my late twenties. Surgeon reattached it under a microscope. It helped some.

Actually, scar tissue is mother nature's glue. It also acts as a shrink wrap. The palm of the hand is a busy place. As scar matures, it pulls the area together. If it inadvertently attaches to a finger tendon or 2, they can't move. It would be like a big wad of chewing gum mushed in to the palm at the base of the fingers.

A good hand therapist can manage scar tissue with splinting, scar massage, and stretching.

And I need a couple more right now. Both thumbs need a second going over. Sucks.
