I only just found out that I even HAD a rear fog light standard in my Aussie GTS. Lol.
I was turning my front fogs on and was playing with the stalk and noticed another light on the dash and found my rear light on.

I literally made my own to have it light up when brakes are hit and when headlights are on for about $15. Just go to Autozone and buy two 198 Bulb sockets for $5 and wire them up to the driver side tail light.

It makes sense the point of a fog light is to be under the fog so having it down there so people can see you in thick fog makes sense in my mind.

Sorry, wasn't aiming towards you, but the actual product itself. No worries!

It would be nice if someone could come up with a kit to do this, especially for the electrically handicapped.

Anyone tried to turn the white reflector portions into reverse lights? Or is that not possible?

The rear lights flashes on F1 cars when rain tires are being ran. It's a requirement for poor weather set-up. Some teams have them flashing during "pit" because when the car is placed in pit for speed regulations it ties in with the traction control and controls this light. F-1 rules are forever changing and are the absolute most stringent in the racing world. In short the light flashes when wet tires are being run because the driver behind them can't see through the water wash coming off the tires and rear diffuser...the flashing light is about the only thing to give them a perspective of where the car is in front of them. Why not steady? Ask the stewards...

By all measn if I am wrong on this, please correct me...Just be nice. Let's not bash around here.
