Cars & Coffee was at the Oasis in Austin today. Not a huge turnout since it was a week postponed due to Mother's day. Normally has a ton of people every second sunday of the month.
Btw, whoever FRS13 is in the Asphalt that honked at me this morning on the way to C&C, I attempted to wave back! Hopefully you're on these forums. |

Terex might install it for you. Also I think only a handful of people in the US have that kit.

Meguiar's NXT has worked pretty well for me as a quick wax job. With Blackfire you have to do a 2x2 patch apply and then remove, but NXT you can go over whole vehicle, let it dry, then remove. NXT does seem to be more finicky with the weather which as we know doesn't bode well for Austin. If it was above 90 or so it just doesn't take to the finish as well and doesn't look great. |

Hey Austinites, forgot to introduce myself. I just got my white pearl brz limited a week ago. Got it from an older gentleman in Dallas area who sold due to financial reasons. The car is exactly what I wanted. I'm very happy with it. Hope to meet some Austin owners at the three sisters run next month.

Re wax, I've had pretty good luck with Opti-Seal which is a spray on and wipe until clear no buff sealant. It takes several hours for the molecules to bond to each other and for the look of the car to change. Usually I notice it the most the day after. I used it on my previous cars with pretty good longevity, at least 4-5 months if covered parking. If parking is full sun, maybe something like colinite marine wax is tougher. For looks, natty's blue applied 3 coats without buffing in between will create the most amazing wet and deep reflections... I did that on my 93 toyota mr2 and saw people staring into the side of the car because the reflections were so liquid and clear.
