When I was in Year 12 (about 17yo) an acquaintance at school had a Beetle. We would sometimes go for drives at lunch time and when passing a pedestrian he would switch off the ignition while in gear and then sometime later turn the ignition back on. If we were lucky there would be an almighty backfire. We saw a lady drop her shopping bags and throw her arms up while looking madly around. It was hilarious at the time.

TIL that Super Bomberman R is pretty fun and reminds of Bomberman from SNES and that Street Fighter V doesn't remind me of Street Fighter from SNES.

TIL or better yet, remembered that I've learned this before... Transferring all your data and stuff from one mobile phone to another never works the way they say it will. None of my apps work, I can't log into some sights using the phone but I can with my computer and my tablet. I'm getting weird error messages and the guy at the phone store was useless. I'll keep calling tech support and then hang up if I can't understand what the person that answers is saying.

Phone store folks are just barely able to make sales.
Tech support is a different problem... phone company, or hardware? both same manufacturer?
Apple definitely does the best job, but even then not perfect. They have to be, though, because all your data is so hidden away. And if it doesn't work, you're even more SOL.

Android is such a cluster of different flavors brought by manufacturers. And some (like Samsung) really go out of their way to not play nice.
Best tip I have: uninstall the app which isn't working, then install it again. If there is a big OS version change between the devices, it can change how permissions or data locations work. A good bit of software to migrate will fix this, but... clearly that's not what you have.

My own experience - the only one which was somewhat nice was my last phone upgrade (>4yrs ago now) and that was Sony > LG. Of course, LG is done. Both are a light touch on customizing things though. Really not sure where I'll land when I have to replace this phone. Everything is so huge. I do know it won't be a Samsung. I had a long run of HTC phones before that company withered away and none 'upgraded' for me at all. I liked the Sony a lot, but it ate holes in my jeans (model specific). LG sound is amazing out the headphone jack (special dac + amp though).

To be fair he has been sliding cars in real life for a few years now.
Nothing on this level, but FWIW jumping up in power isn't all that hard if you already have the basics down.

Today I learned that I quite enjoyed Christopher Walken playing a cool granddad in a UK black comedy 'The Outlaws'.. A good watch if you're seeking something different.

TIL that I would've made a horrible sale's person in any type of market. I'm just too much of an honest seller. I could never seek an inflated gain at the expense of people's hard work.

I bought an XBOX Series X a few months ago, during the peak of scarcity, and how much did I sell it for? Exactly the amount of money I paid for it, to the dime.

We have an employee forum at my job. Someone, somehow, managed to get not 2, or 3, but 15 PS5. Asking for almost $300 over MSRP, cash. I just can't. No wonder why I could never seek a career at car rentals, it just wasn't for me.

I know it is not illegal to "scalp", except for an specific item under emergency situations, and it's the core of supply of demand. It just feels wrong, like morally wrong for me.

This.
In a Capitalist economy (and I know there is a huge range of Capitalism) scalping is the rational outcome.

(Sh*t! That might have bean a political post but I'm not sure.)

No it is economics. If you said that so and so party would do it better then it would be political.
