Reason I ask is kind of similar to people who don't wear their seat belts. When they see a cop they go to reach for it -which in turn draws attention to the fact they didn't have it on and they get caught.

I never ride with it down. Only if I see a roadblock or checkpoint

yeah, we have this thing called IMDS, its an electric filing of all maintenance on our equiptment, specifically aircraft which we have to do after EVERY maintenace action. You know not everyone in the airforce sits in a chair.

This is what I use and it's pretty awesome. No drilling and doesn't take very long to install. Yeah, the car looks better without the plate, but I do think it adds a sporty look to it. Front license plate is required here in TX and I see a lot of different sports/sporty cars using similar setups.

I'm Canadian Navy. Your coast guard probably has more jets than our air force.
