Yes, and Greddy publishes the actual DB levels.

If you look at Perrin's 3" resonator below you will see the outer dis. is 3.5 inches which means there is only a 1/4" of sound deadening around it. My tuner suggests replacing it with a 4" resonator so there would be 1/2" of material all around. Plus he says he can get in a 24" and a 18" in place of the single Perrin 24". And being 3" inside I won't lose any performance.

What do you think?

I just found this old thread and realized I never up dated it. I ended up going with a HKS dual resonated front pipe and the Invidia Q-300 exhaust. Nice and quiet now, I live in a RV Resort and can now start the car with out waking my neighbors. Nice and quiet at freeway speeds, tire noise is louder than exhaust noise. But still sounds nice when getting on it.

Full time now but still go back to OR. and WA. in the summer. I love Oregon Raceway Park to much to not make it every summer.
Will be at Portland in July for the Pirelli World Challenge Race.

not sure what the exact noise level will be but it will be way quieter than an unresonated 3" perrin

get your tuner to do the quiet start up mods to tune (if is not a carb tune)
Can you compare these to the TRD that comes as an option for the frs (2 exhausts, not the quad)?

Im gonna go to a meet up soon and just hear some in person but I also wanna know what to look for

Ok, and you said q300 is quiter than the perin.

I think the trd is loud. But i dont mind it either. So pretty much everyone else with an aftermarket exhaust is louder?
