@m0nty, no offence but you've been spewing some real snarky comments ever since your cancelled thread fiasco. Better take yourself away from this community and cool off a bit...

Snarky? The fiasco was caused by a few select fanboys. Why should I take myself away from the forums because they think the 86 is holier than thou and try to belittle anything else. Being party of a community is about being open to other opinions and tastes, and accepting of all people that love cars. That's what brings us here. Nafe made it a personal attack at me and my car.

For the record, I requested my thread get locked. It turned into spam like every other thread here. Moderation is neglected on the Australian side of things here. Even JDMST has remained on topic and civil on my car thread. That really says something about these forums.

Agree with you on this but your other comments were unnecessary. Go on a 370z forum and guess what? There is bound to be a crap load of bias for the 370z within the community. Same thing here, so don't take anything to heart.
If you have buyer's remorse, take it to a clio forum instead of calling the 86 out as a hairdressers car here.

Yep, pretty much! : just kidding though...it is her car indeed and maybe my comment sounded sexist and boy race-ist but you are right by saying that is her car, she can drive it in which ever way she wants to. However, at some extent I hate it when people buy super cars or any sports car, dont know jack about it, they do it just fo' sho' without using their potential. I think a baby dies everytime I see a super car being driven to do the shopping. Buy a fucking Camry or a Clio for that ...Just kidding here again.

I am not saying you shouldn't buy any car you like, but sometimes they look a bit like those fat fucks with Tapout or UFC t-shirts. Pathetic really!

Sooo, how is your car taking it?, because you are getting all worked up instead. As many posters mentioned you will always have people biased, especially when you're on a 86 forum. You are being biased too, Nafe as well. Nobody likes being wrong, and in my opinion an attack is labeled an attack when the receiver reacts to it. Dont want to be Dr. Phill here and shit, but there might be something more than "he made fun of my car" cry. Maybe, as someone sugessted you have the buyers remorse, maybe other problems...I dont know. So calm down buddy! If I would go on a Suzuki Capuccino forum I would defo be made fun off if I steer away from it. it is called Cognitive Dissonance!
Lucky you are not driving this:

Spotted a WRB BRZ heading west through Mt Victoria in the Blue Mountains, and saw him again today while working in Blackheath.

Nearly broke my neck when I saw it in the corner of my eye.

Also have seen a crap load of 86's mainly heading west through the Blue Mountains.

So jealous. My workmates just don't understand how special the cars are!

What's somewhat ironic here is that there would already be more hairdresser stereotypes associated to the 86 than the Clio. Don't get mad bro. Bum draggers have been hanging shit on the MX5 for years. Now they have another easy target... Oh right, slow is the new black.
Who is mad? I certainly am not
The more hairdresser stereotypes, the better. That means that potentially less douches will buy them!
Just like the mx5... MX5s are actually great cars!
You can hang shit on the 86 as much as you want, I won't get mad. At the end of the day, I am happy with my car, and if you are happy with your car, what is the problem?? You seem to want to creat problems.
You seem to be sending a lot of hate to me, in various threads, when I am not getting angry or sending you hate, or anything??
At the end of the day, if you come on here saying the 86 isn't very good, on an 86 forum..... You need to expect to cop a bit of flack. But it's all on you for hanging shit on it.
I couldn't care less if you didn't get an 86 and got a clio, it means one person who really appreciates it will get theirs sooner
Oh, and RWD owners have been hanging shit on FWD cars for just as long.... You are using any new material

@Monty - Ummm, I have not attacked you or your car?? WTF are you talking about??
You said that 86s are powersliding douches, I just used your logic and applied it to your car?
"Oh right, she should have been power sliding it because that's how you're supposed to drive an 86, right?"
Callling you a fuckwit with a piece of shit car woudl be a personal attack. I most certainly have not, and would not, say anything like that....
Get a grip mate.

FFS fellas. If you don't have something nice to say don't say it at all.

AUS section is getting way out of hand. Too many having a cheap shot at others for no reason at all.

We are all here on common grounds. Keep it clean.
