What's the harm in getting a second opinion? If they say the same thing then at least you have confirmation from another professional.

Speaking of teeth, I had a small piece of my only bottom right rear molar break. Local dental office got me in for a look see right away. The dentist said it wasn't that bad and they would just fill that one spot, not redo the whole filling. (the tooth is mostly filling)

Well that lasted about two weeks when the entire front portion, mostly enamel, broke and shifted. Same dental office got me in the next day but it was a different dentist. She filled the new cavity and mentioned that I should have a crown. I asked for a quote and then explained my "fixed income" situation and that I'd have to wait until April when I would be able to cash in a GIC, (Guarranteed Investment Certificate). Well that fix lasted a week and then a new piece fell out. So last Wednesday I went in for the first of two visits to get a crown. This 1st visit was to repair the tooth, remove the outer layer and then cover it all with a temporary cap. You guessed it, last night the cap came off and now there is very little of anything left. I just got back from the dentist who said at this point might as well try the crown. She'll embed several pins in the root and then build up the area with filler. We hope it'll be enough to hold the crown in place.
This sucks. My wife went through an ordeal with a crown that was not fitting right. She went back some 7x and was charged an office visit each time. The next time I went to the dentist I asked him about it and he said WHAT?! That's aftercare. He refunded all 7 follow up visits. Sometimes the front office doesn't relay information to the back office and a bill is automatic. When I had a crown I delayed treatment for a similar reason and the office agreed to do the work and extend billing out to when I could pay. Most will work with you if you go about it the right way.

I think the leaky filling is legit. Most people suffer from horrible anxiety at the dentist and it's not something that needs addressed right away. Worst case you experience new pain before your next cleaning. I have had a ton of dental work without anesthetics i can say if you have the ability to zone out and put yourself somewhere else there is nothing to worry about especially if you get numb.

But that front end is just so off-putting.
There was one in front of me on the way home yesterday. First I have seen on the road.
I like it no better in the wild than I did in pictures and at the dealer's showroom. The front and the sides are just so busy and overblown and scream unfinished body kit. The ducktail trunk lid looks like an Ebay tack on and the rest of the rear may as well be a Kia.
The term "sleek" never even crossed my mind.

I was trying to be nice, in the sense that yeah, does have a somewhat charm to it with its curves. But nothing that would make my jaw drop. Is like one of those chicks that start looking hot after 6+ shots of Tequila.

Today my wife is driving along a back road and comes upon a horse and buggy with a young woman driver standing next to it. She looks like she is waving but something seemed off. My wife slows down, opens the window and asks if she is ok.

The reigns came detached from the harness and bit so she couldn't steer. (In automotive terms her tie-rod broke). My wife helped her out and she was so grateful.

As payment my wife received one shiny apple.
