LOL Yes because at that stage in the game chips on the hood are the biggest concern.

Ran a search for "destroyed WRX with perfect hood," found this, and am going with it.

LOL what? I'm just trying to help out by giving my opinion on it. My car is sensitive to the wind, but I don't feel unsafe. I'm sorry you took it the other way, but I'm genuinely trying to provide feedback.

The last sentence was assuming he is unsatisfied with how the car's driving profile/characteristics were. It also underpins an assumption that you don't think he's worried there is an actual problem, and it's just how the car handles and therefore you're sorry that he's not as satisfied as you are. That isn't genuine feedback

Again with the 'I'm sorry you...'

Those types of statements give us the assumption that you're overly sympathetic or not truly sympathetic at all and trying to underline that there are different beliefs at play- and not an actual problem. In the worst case, one can take away feelings that you're simply being plain ol' passive aggressive. Just giving you some honest feedback.

The rest of the bit was ok though.

Did you alter your post? A few min ago I read something different. Either way, I think our cars are kinda sensitive to the wind. At highway speeds I feel my car kinda shifting when its windy. My wife has a Fiesta ST and her car drives solid in windy conditions. Even with Michelin PSS tires and Tein flex Z coilovers, I still feel my car have movement during windy conditions. However, it isn't as dramatic as moving into another lane as OP claims. Hope this helps.

When's the last time you drove a large car or a box disguised as a vehicle designed in the '80s? I spent 5 years driving this in 20+ mph gusts:

The 86 is great in the wind, but it follows every rut in the road like you're on train tracks. That truck was like a sailboat in comparison (in more ways than how it handled wind).

Oh man my dad used to have that truck. Solid truck. lasted 300k miles...no joke. I haven't driven a large car in a while. I agree that the 86 follows every rut in the road, but I do get some issues with the car in the wind at highway speeds. It's very slight that It doesn't bother me however. Also,my windows aren't sealed perfectly, so I do get a lot of wind noise. I still feel the brz/frs is a solid car though. I don't have much complaint on them.

So after two more visits I gave up and traded the car in.

The tire pressure was off 2psi on one wheel. Surprisingly this was noticeable improvement but still did not feel stable at high speeds.

The toe was corrected again. Within 0.01 of each other.

I've considered trying another BRZ but I'm moving back to the east coast and wasn't too practical.

The Subaru dealer let me have a sweet deal on the STI, so I took it. Every other dealer I'd be taking a 4-5k hit easily from the shopping around I did.

Well, i drove my FR-S on a four hundred mile weekly commute through a NY/Pennsylvania Winter. It's very good in the snow when properly equipped with snow tires. Then i drove it across the country to California in the Spring. I've had it up to 125 mph and it was stable and could have maintained the pace for hours. I have also enjoyed frequent participation in autocross events. It's a wonderful automobile and would respectfully attribute any perceived faults to the nut behind the wheel.
