You don't need better engine mounds with it.
Cost is the reason they stopped supporting twin owners, because most are cheap.
Welds cracking is not unheard of with any other brand.
Yeah the ACE out performs up to 4.5k rpm then the JDL does better. At least according to the graphs using the same dyno, with the same seasoned tuner, fuel and correction factors.

Are you implying the JDL unit needs better motor mounts? Because, there have been plenty posts here about the ACE unit and a"noise" that turned out to be rubbing on the front under-panel.

The owners are cheap excuse again ... Its cost got to $2000+ at one point for >20whp my guy. That is poor value for money compared to the competition. The product got too expensive. $1700 is more palatable than $2000+.

Welds breaking have been more prevalent on the ACE units than any other "premium" header, especially in comparison to JDL.

Which ACE header was the dyno for? The 350 does more area under curve but not peak whp, the 150 does high rpm peak whp better, but less so low rpm.

Getting rid of my Ace a350 header after a quick reconditioning, replacing with a JDL unit.

No it doesn't, but if you're gonna make a claim like that back it up with specific data you're referencing.

ACE recommends upgraded motor mounts for a reason.

No, because paying $2K for headers that crack and perform on-par if worse than the competition at double the cost is stupid.

It's a physical possibility sure, the issue is the *rate* at which it's happening with ACE

949 post regarding difference between JDL and ace
https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...3&postcount=43

Doesn't seem to be much difference, except for the cost.

Guess you’re going nowhere fast if you can’t find the data that has been posted for years.
