Am I the only one that was expecting to see under the hood? Really curious how far forward the engine has o be moved to accommodate the AWD, and what it does to the handling balance..

Anyone else want to see it on corner balance scales to see the F/R and L/R balance?

I was hoping too. Really, with a swap like this you are fundamentally changing the car to the point I don't think handling balance was a concern or consideration. More of "did cause can. "

This falls squarely into the "When did it stop being a BRZ" category.
It really is now just a BRZ shaped WRX.

Best way to neuter a great handling rwd car is to give it awd.

If he really wanted to be cool, mount the wrx engine and trans as a mid-engine unit like the 818's. Shouldn't be too hard to do (LOL). I'm surprised there's not a kit for it already.

Perhaps we're thinking of it the wrong way.....

Maybe they took an existing WRX, took the body and interior out, and just took a BRZ body and interior and pasted it in....obviously there would have to be some modifications to get the fenders and whatnot to lineup but with the full decals and livery on it you couldn't tell off the bat unless it was next to an original BRZ right?
