What gas brand are you using? Do you ever smell gasoline?

@shiv@vishnu

I notice my AFR at WOT is around 11.3-11.6 (gasoline). Where the fueling tables are 12.5 in this area. It appears I need to rescale my MAF in this area.

In Closed loop MAF scaling is quite good less than 3% error.

My concern is maybe this was done for a reason , is this just safety built into these tunes ?

If you were to rescale the MAF would it be safe to import the new scaling into an E85 tune as I also run rich on these ? 11.2-11.4

I did notice the MAF scaling is slightly different in E85 tunes to gas tunes.

Just spoke to Service Guy.
Me: hey you guys overfileld my oil and changed my fuel pump. now car is gulping gas. Lost 10 MPG since service.
Them: run 89 octane for two weeks and call me back.
Me: Wat?
Them: yeah that's what the technician is going to tell you. trying to save you time. I have a 2014 FR-S and only use 89. It will clean out all the carbon buildup in intake.
Me: okay........bye.

I am at quite the loss here.

So don't kill me for asking a n00b-ish question please. I got the OFT back in early October 2013 and used the most current tune at that point. My car sat from Nov - Mar and I just this past weekend put the latest beta stage 1 on.

Is it just wishful thinking, or is there a noticeable difference between a really old tune and the newest? Because to me, it feels like a VERY noticeable difference especially mid range.

There are just so many posts and threads about the OFT that I honestly gave up looking for an answer to my question.

Just received my OFT today and holy shizzz. My car is completely stock other than blitz drop in filter. I proceeded to use a stage 1 tune which sets a launch control limiter to 5600rpm. My 86 is a whole different car now thanks to you guys at Vishnu tuning. If i wanted to run e85 on a stock engine would it be safe to use the stage2 el e85 tune? thanks in advance and i am happy with doing business with Vishnu in the future. @shiv@vishnu
