I don't know how I got used to my thin OEM driver floor mat that liked to wrinkle all the time. But, I finally got tired of it and installed 3D molded front mats!

Edit: Picture. Now you can see it! lol

Someone posted a link for these. I liked the way they looked and the price. After getting them, I am happy. Paid 78 for just the front two shipped off ebay...

I've gotten used to jokes about how my "slow car"/"hairdressers car"/"sports Corolla"/"worst Subaru" is slower than a minivan/Prius/pickacrossover and how I made a huge mistake compared to Camaros and Mustangs twice daily for the last 6 years. 6 years later I'm still smiling every time I drive it after they've gone through 2 or 3 cars so the joke is on them.

They do look nice... at first. I have a set in my car, but they don't hold up real well. Mine looked pretty bad after the first winter, even after taking them out and hosing them off fairly regularly... but the winters are ugly here. In a non-muddy/slushy environment, they'd probably be fine.

My next set will be WeatherTecs. Uglier, and more expensive, but they are tough.

I hear you, but... But my 2013 is still my "new" car, so it get's parked inside. And I drive my AWD truck all winter. Not to mention the flimsy OEM mats lasted 7 years. These are much much tougher! (at least for my driving shoes that just sit in their box waiting to go for a drive)

- That dead spot in the first ~5% of the gas pedal. I've gotten used to it, but it's weird at first switching to other manual cars.

- Low seating position. It's second nature to me and I love it personally, but it's the first thing passengers comment (complain?) about getting in.

- Squealing brakes. This isn't the car's fault (more mine for keeping BBK/track pads in the car year-round), but passengers have an embarrassed look when my brakes squeal up to lights/stop signs. I've mostly tuned it out.

- Rattles and road noise. Whenever I drive a normal modern car (Accord, Camry, etc.) it's amazing how quiet and smooth they are. (This one is also probably my fault for using 200TW track tires for daily driving and coilovers with 400 lbs/in springs, but I don't remember the stock FR-S being especially refined either.)

- 90's era radio and HVAC. The simplicity doesn't bother me (in fact I kind of appreciate it), but honestly it's pretty dated-looking.

- Engine braking. There's a ton of it in our cars with the relatively high CR. Driving slushbox automatics, they don't slow down at all off-throttle.

Despite all its quirks, still loving this car. Not perfect, but perfect for me if that makes sense.
