How many of yinz have bumper scrapes?

Yea the dreaded curbs that plague so many of the places we like to go, so how many of you have scrapes, scratches, gouges, etc on or under your front bumper? I got my FRS new back in the spring of '15 and within a week of ownership i misjudged just exactly how low this car is and went right over the top of a curb at a gas station, put quite a few gouges into the bumper itself, touch up paint didn't do too bad at masking them, plus i am seasoned with that practice, lol. Well just today i did it again, so i went a couple years without doing it. Do any of you just use some TUP and let it ride after that? Or have you went the expensive route and bought a new bumper cover and had it painted to match?

All men combat park! Problem solved!

No really any car with a low front bumper just back in it is safer.

I scraped the front bumper once, parking in a bit too much of a hurry in a parking space with an abnormal curb. Used a bit of touch up paint then put a lip on it. I've only gone forwards into a parking space once since then, and that was only because I was parking at some PG&E facility where they had posted signs saying not to back in. Stopped about 2 feet short of the curb because small car. Now I scrape the lip now and then on driveways but haven't scraped it parking because I always back in, back up camera makes it easy.

I left 2 gouges on my front bumper trying to drive onto ramps... Didn't realize how far out the bumper stuck before the tires start raising it up on a ramp! Was the first oil change since I had bought it maybe 20 hours before.

i don't want to lower my car.. it's scraped so much, i've lost at least 5 of the clips.

it doesn't help that i also drive a ranger and a savana work van, so i get used to clearing small bumps that the car can't.

Your list would have been shorter if you would have asked how many do NOT have scrapes under the front bumper -

Yes, I have several scrapes underneath the front bumper on my 2013 FR-S. Since they aren't gonna rust, I just don't pay them any mind. Why don't they bother me? Because I can't normally get down that low to be able to see them -

How in the hell did you get your car way up there?

You could have installed leaf guard, then the bumper wouldn't have anything to snag when you slid off the roof -

One time I was an idiot and accidentally parked in neutral at night in my driveway when I was still getting used to manual mode on my car. I was wondering why I couldn't get the key out of the ignition. Then I felt a soft bump.

Thankfully, my curb was exactly 1cm lower than my bumper's lowest point. I had rolled forward, but it was too dark (the Luddite in me manually turns on and off headlights...even the interior light) and slow for me to immediately notice so it just gently bumped into my tires instead.

I pretty much park with the car's ass now no matter where I go. The rear camera on the newer models is honestly the best out of any car I've ever driven with a rear camera. It's placed perfectly in the rear view mirror and has a great field of vision and distance markers.

That's a curious repair. You think someone gouged out the road and driveway?
