I still doubt it will have any major differences, and if it does I think it will lose some of what makes this Gen special...just my 2 cents.

The crease in the top of the rear quarter is also totally different between all the pictures. Does it extend into the door or not?
Hell the first picture is a totally different car that the rest.
All fiction anyway.
they didn't, that pic was used for the front cover of the magazine.

So which is it supposed to be then? They can't even agree with them selves?

good question, i was also a little confused on why they included the old render in the online article. the print magazine doesn't have the old render tho. im assuming its to just show the differences between their earlier guess vs what they believe the "final" design will be for online readers.

the printed magazine only has this set of pics. we'll have to wait and see if they're right.

Not a fan of those tail lights. Imo the renders are full of supra and lexus ideas.

With some Impreza thrown in for good measure.

i also want to add that Bestcar is usually WAY OFF with their renders, but closer to the launch date they get pretty close.

example, the leaked 2021 Lexus IS vs Bestcar render from October 25, 2018. yeah some details are off, but overall its pretty damn close.

and we all remember their Supra render from February 25, 2018.

They just did the following with the interior:
-take the infotainment setup from the corolla (tablet screen above the vents)
-top of the dash from the Lexus UX passenger side portion with the stitching
-Gauges and armrest from the Supra
-Center stack and console lifted from the current 86 (with the knobs enlarged and silvered)and offset to the side instead of symmetrically scentered.
-relocated the push button start
-edges of the center stack and console looks like it might have come from the Lexus IS.

I dont think the Supra was actually difficult to get correct. The thing is 90% FT1 concept car that got shortened and with an additional front vent.

you would think, but all of the publications were way off.

they pretty much nail the interior also.

I'm sticking with my Hakone. It's lovely, it's roomy like a SUV but sportier.

I do see a lot more "squareness" when comparing it to the Corolla, or I guess any 80s and 90s Toyota. I like it overall because it looks waaaaay more cohesive than the 86. Plus it is just clean overall. I could do without the vent behind the front wheel, but I can see that they are trying to do something more interesting with the front fender arch by emphasizing the outlet area behind the front wheel - much like the rock bunny kit.

Also, when I see it I think NSX from the front.
