Need scratches/scuff marks buffed out of bumper or cheap bumper for sale

Anyone know of a good place that can get marks buffed out or know of anyone that's looking to sell their stock/OEM black BRZ front bumper?

How bad are the scratches? Whats the story? A pic would help get an idea of what you're working with

also, as a general rule of thumb - if you can catch the scratch with your fingernail then its too deep to be buffed out.

But...you may still try to buff it out if it's only one small groove in a 1/4" wide scratch...once you buff away the part with texture you're left with a much smaller scratch. You may even be able to do a paint pen fill on the smaller scratch.

Driver side front corner bumper was scuffed by someone backing out, the bastard swapped paint with me while I was parked. There's a crack in the bumper, I know that can't be fixed, but the rest of the paint is what bothers me because it's white paint on my black bumper.

(I'm honestly not too concerned with deep scratches and dents and such, but the white paint on a black bumper stands out so much, that's the main thing I'd like removed if possible)

Second issue is once again while I was parked picking up my son from school, a Jeep backed up onto the top of my front bumper while she was leaving her spot, those aren't actually too deep, I believe they're just surface scratches and should be able to be buffed out pretty easily.

I'll get pictures as soon as I can! Based on those descriptions, are you able to provide me with an estimate?

the paint transfer is pretty easy to remove with a lot of options. tar remover or IPA (diluted) or clay bar or cleaner wax by hand or some polish by hand should remove that

Pics would definitely help to get an idea how bad it is. along with an answer to my question about whether you can catch them with your fingernail.

IPA = isopropyl alcohol / rubbing alcohol

should be diluted with distilled water a bit as most over the counter rubbing alcohol is pretty strong and can damage your paint

paint transfer shouldn't be too bad to remove. you live in manhattan? or on LI?

So I just saw this on the rear driver side between the rear wheel and the back bumper. Any solutions?

it can be buffed, and improved, but it looks to be too deep. likely would need some touchup paint

do the test I recommended earlier. see if you can catch the scratch with your fingernail. if you can, its too deep.

Just did the fingernail test. I could feel it with the fingernail but it doesn't get caught. Funny thing is I don't even have a buffer lol (should prob invest in one).

tackling a scratch that deep, with your first go round with a polisher I would not recommend. And ultimately I think its a bit too deep to be removed entirely. A good compounding / polishing would clean it up quite a bit but wouldn't 'fix' it back to what you remember. sorry
