Hi all! I've been wanting a FRS/BRZ/86 for years now, and finally bit the bullet! I always thought of it as a real "driver's car" and it hasn't disappointed! I picked up a 2013 BRZ with some modest modifications. Can't wait to delve into the wealth of knowledge on the forum! Cheers.

Good morning, everyone. New here, doing research toward the possible purchase of a used BRZ, and I'm full of questions. Future use will include autocross (no particular class in mind, as I am at a learning stage rather than competitive-in-class stage), maybe TrackSprint, and perhaps occasional track days in order to learn, learn, learn.
I'll be reading around the Forum to find out what to watch out for (I'm looking 2014-2016 to avoid the spring recall issue), and I always appreciate advice. Many thanks. Last edited by Sisko's_Baseball; 11-07-2019 at 02:01 PM. |

Hello BRZ fans. Looking to purchase a new 2020 but can’t find one to test drive.
Anyone know where I can find the trunk dimension as I need to toss my wife’s wheelchair into the trunk? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Really wanna be a BRZ owner. |

Thanks for the link AJ32162. It looks like the took a lot of measures on a 2014 model. Hopefully the 2020 has the same dimensions. Thanks again.

A few years ago I thought BRZ was a new street drug to avoid as it included something like LSD. Then my younger Bro got addicted to one. I thought I could control the attraction, But dammit! It got the better of me!
So I just had to get me one too ! This year I had a purpose to do some tripping, so... Doing the deal: April 10 th 2019 : 8 Km Had to claim my birthday present a bit early as that boat from Japan with the stash came in earlier than I was hoping for! Picked up (at the DEALER of course...) a Pure Red 2019 BRZ Sport-tech RS. I liked the RED theme already going on this PP. Sat down in it for the first time and realized why did I wait so long? … And that the mirrors were way off… Nov 11th 2019: close to 34,150 Km I think the BRZ break-in is completed, and Im now going into some withdrawal symptoms bad! We got snow on the 12th; Have to put it away for the next 5 months. Even though we have some of the BEST winter drivers around they still SUCK and so do our roads! Im not putting my precious out there! I'm somewhat so depressed, I want/don't want to go play in the snow with it but that won't happen for a few years yet... About that high mileage issue for just a few short months… Just had some fantastic trips in the past 7 months, what a rush! Some bucket list trip items completed in that time: -Do a Cross Canada: mostly off secondary roads when available to test out if the GPS can follow me of course. -Enjoy where you are: Loved the 3A in BC trying my hardest to chase down some pesky Bikes.(So I failed! but had some fun trying, I think they caught on I was there after 10Km or so.) Nass valley road, so much fun had to do 2X. -Going to the sun road MT, Whattaview!. Well I had been there 3x before but WTF it was somewhat on the way, had the time and imnot in a rental. (MT border guard almost sabotaged that plan! Never had issues crossing before suspect he only approved Pick-up trucks & SUV's,definitely was looking down at me! or wazzit my by now permanent grin maybe hiding something?) -Finding the local brew or brewery at the end of a long day. -Finding the roads end : None west of Gingolx (Suitable for a BRZ) so did 180 came back home. -Finding a way across Road ends: Don’t you Love finding a car friendly boat... Kooteney Lake & Tobermory, Those mini cruzes were a great way to have a morning coffee. Somewhat closer to home tried ferry at Sorel & Tadoussac for a shakedown trip early cold May. Brz always got a special safe place on the ships; I liked the attention I normally don’t get, -Good times at Family gatherings, ordering Pizza far, far away... -Finding the high mountain road: Whiteface NY, Smugglers Notch VT, Blackwall rd BC, -Calling up a friend 5000Km away and dare asking whazz up? wannado the ride back? (Bonus, if a yes I get an xtra Kojak spotter...) By the way I have no place for your stuff and he says "I can be there tomorrow! But ya have to show me how to drive that standardlow-ass thing you’re driving" -Need better tires even if they still look new (they are perfect for a trip like this).(Another my fail! Must kill all tires!) -Lots of fun miles and somehow no tickets. Just retired before xmas last year but never mastered that requirement to reflect my age. I should have lots of time now to look at it and plan for more trips! I don’t need meds for old age pains, I have my BRZ. |

Picked up my 2019 Limited with PP in Dark Gray on Nov. 1st. Threw a set of Indy 500 tires on the PP wheels (225/45/17) and the fun times began. Still going through the break in miles and living in the torque dip which is way overblown. This car is a hoot! Just pure fun every time I drive it. AnalogMan summed it up best when he said this car has a throwback feel to it when driving. It really does remind me of a lot of late 60's early 70's small sports cars but with all the modern conveniences. First time owning heated seats! My only complaint is having to to push the radio knob for five long seconds so I can turn off the infotainment screen and just enjoy driving.

New to the forum, but not to my 2013 BRZ :)
Hey all, I'm just joining this forum now after about 4 years of ownership of a 2013 WRB BRZ. I would read posts here and there, but now I'm thinking about adding some minor mods to my car and can't wait to read up on the wealth of knowledge on this forum.
Only sucky thing is I hit a deer last week so my car isn't looking too pretty for the time being. My poor baby |
