Hi everyone. My name is Danny, I have been browsing the forum for awhile and am finally getting a minute to post. I have a Raven FRS daily driver and plan on doing some mods to it. It will also be a mild demo car for my shop. I hope to meet some of you soon.

Why by a tuner car at all if you want to leave something "as it is"

I made the purchase 45 days ago. I and every one here, I hope loves the car as much as I do. I'm just praying that they will have the chirping fix soon.

Hello all,

My name is Josh, i currently reside in Shelby, NC, and have owned my FR-S for approximately 1 month.

Now that the boring crap is out of the way, on to the more fun stuff!

I've been into tuning cars really since I started driving. I modded my first 2 cars, both Honda Accords (1- '92 & 1- '94) and enjoyed doing it as well as enjoyed most parts of the "scene." After that I moved to an '02 Mazda B3000 pickup which got slightly modded. That got totaled (not my fault for once!) and I bought an '08 Silverado. Drove that from Tucson to Shelby (moved for work) and kept it for a few months. I did some more involved mods then the norm I/H/E on the Silverado but really found I didn't have much need for a truck anymore. That as well as it getting close to 100k on the clock (vehicles lose a lot of value locally after 100k) I figured it was time to trade it in and get something fun. I had been eyeballing the FR-S for sometime and went down to look at one on a whim one Saturday. Needless to say a lot of haggling later (I'm in sales so it was nice to be on the other side this time!) I drove away in my shiny new car a happier man.

I'm not really sure what I plan to do with it yet; I've already run into some issues (that are going to get checked by the dealer in a few weeks; woo hoo!). Once I get it back, and my money cushion builds itself back up slightly, I'll probably start doing little odds and ends like a CAI & catback.

I look forward to being apart of this forum and, if there is anyway that I can be of help, please feel free to ask. I am new to Toyota as well to the Boxer engine so my technical knowledge is limited but I'm good with my hands and can build just about anything.

Anything else you people want to know, just ask!

Hi All! Picked up a 2013 WhiteOut FR-S about 3 weeks ago and I'm loving everything about the car except the power output. My other car is a 2013 E92 M3 so I guess you can say I'm use to more power, LOL. Been browsing this forum to see what goodies to pick up and is definitely very informative and knowledgeable group of people. Will definitely hit up a few meets and check out other people's rides

FT86 FTW!

After you have made a few posts, a little yellow "thanks" button will appear under the post (lower right hand corner) you wish to thank. Just punch it ....

CONGRATULATIONS and ..... to this happy group.

Check the tires pressures, don't let the parking stops sneak up under your car and if it comes with summer tires .... you might consider some winter tires ...
