Throttle not responding and idle issues after going turbo
First off, I've had issues with the tunes from my current tuner. Even while NA, the car was running terrible. Horrible throttle response in low rpms, terrible mpg, the car felt extremely slugish under 4k rpms. These issues are still present with the turbo installed, but not as prominent. So I'd for sure think the tune is a big possibility. But of course mechanical problems is another probability. One of the issues right now car is having idle issues. Right off the bat when picked up after the car getting turboed. Tuner says the idle issues began when he was trying the clean out the TB right before I came to pick up the car. Not sure if thats true or not, but the issue is still occurring and tuner said to cleaning the TB multiple times myself to see if it would help but didn't help after a few tries. RPMs are jumping up and down at idle. The car stalls sometimes when idle drops too low. Smell of fuel is extremely apparent especially when outside the car. My main issue (and a very unsafe one at that) I am having is the throttle will completely give out at any given moment. This specific issue began around 1.5 months into the car being boosted and I have noticed it will only happen in warmer temps outisde. I am in AZ. I'd say temps under 60 degrees or so the issue will happen. Cooler temps, it won't lose throttle. The fluctuating idle issue does still occur though no matter the temperature. While driving or at a stop light, throttle will completely give out at random. Zero response from the pedal. Thing is I can still use the cruise control to keep the car at speed or speed up, but zero response from the throttle pedal. Car will stay this way until I pull over and shut the car off. When stopped and pulled over, the car will start fluctuating idle up and down at an even faster pace (still no throttle response at this point). When I turn the car off and put into accessory mode and push the the throttle, I don't hear the TB open or close. So I turn the car off again completely but now for at least 10 seconds, put it into accessory mode again, push the throttle and then the TB will begin to work. I turn the car on and the throttle is working again. Then it might happen again a few minutes later while driving or not. Completely at random, but only in warmer/hot ambient temps. Tuner says a faulty maf sensor is a probable cause or its not reading correctly. I did purchase the kit from a good friend that I knew the kit was running perfect with zero issues. There is also other issues the car is having as well such as the car will jerk and stumble at around 3k rpms when hitting slight boost when accelerating. But my main issues is the idle and most importantly the random loss of throttle. I do have logs as well. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Do you have upgraded injectors? I don't see any mention of datalogging; you need to get logs of the behavior. You can post it hre after uploading to datazap and see if we can extrapolate anything from it.
Most importantly; if you don't care for the tuner and you don't feel you're being served well, why work with them? it'll be worth your money to find someone who isn't contributing to the problem and can definitively rule out hardware vs software as causation.

if you have stock injectors and the stock map sensor available and your on petrol And copy of turbo f tune, youcould wedge open the wastegate. flash the stock tune with stock map sensor installed and see if it idles ok and throtyle responds ok, drive very light throttle below 3000 only |
