Do any of you drink coffee every day on the way to work? Is it annoying or a hassle with this arm rest in place?

I always flip it open to put any drinks in the cup holders. Unless you're turning sharply, the cover won't hit the cup. Not a problem to me at all since I don't drive aggressively when there are loose items in the car (food, drinks, clothes, etc).

What I meant is the cover will be open 75% of the time that I'm driving.. I really want this cover and all, just wish our cup holder wasn't in the console :/

It was our fault they wend on Back order - with Toyota - We pointed out a small issue with the manufacture process that we thought should be corrected. Some in stock now and More on the way http://www.fteightysix.com/new-produ.../#.VIjxFTHF98o |

Just a note on this for the people having the hinge side not lay flat. Just installed this tonight and found what the problem is...
The small metal pins that make the hinge get pounded into place during the manufacturing process and in general they pound them in too far. If you get a grip on one of the pins with a small set of vice grips you can pull it out a tiny bit - hinge is still tight but not enough that it distorts the frame any more. |
